Train engine fire put out in Lincoln County

LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky.  (WTVQ) – Firefighters put out a fire on a train engine in Lincoln County.

According to Emergency Management and Fire Station Three, it happened around 7 AM Saturday morning near the railroad crossing at Kentucky Highway 2141.

They say an engine malfunction on the Norfolk Southern Train caused excess oil and diesel to light up.

Firefighters used extinguishers to put it out.

No one was hurt.
