Traffic stop leads to meth arrest in Whitley Co.
WHITLEY, CO., Ky. (WTVQ) – The Sheriff in Whitley Co. says a traffic stop ended up with the driver behind bars on trafficking charges.
According to the Sheriff, 38-year-old Gregory A. Davis was stopped on Davis Road in Williamsburg. The Sergeant who stopped Davis says that he saw a pill in Davis’ lap.
According to the Sergeant, while searching Davis, he found a plastic bag in Davis’ pants containing smaller bags with suspected “ice” methamphetamine. Davis was also carrying two suboxone strips in his wallet and a digital scale in the car, according to the Sergeant.
Davis was arrested and charged with trafficking, possession, and driving with obstructed vision.
