Traffic stop leads to meth bust

HARTFORD, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say a traffic stop led to the arrest of a Daviess County man on drug charges.

Investigators say 42-year old Richard Matthews, of Owensboro, was pulled over on a traffic stop on Saturday. Troopers say Matthews was driving under the influence and was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

He was arrested and lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center, according to KSP.
