Traffic stop leads to drug charges
PUTNEY, Ky. (WTVQ)- According to State Police, a traffic stop in Harlan County Tuesday led to the arrest of a Knox County man.
A trooper was driving on US 119 when he noticed a car speeding. When the trooper stopped the car, the driver, 50-year-old Terrace Joseph Saylor, seemed nervous and said he did not have a license. The man then gave permission for the trooper to search his car.
The trooper reportedly found 88 suboxone strips and a large amount of money.
Saylor was charged with speeding, operating on a suspended or revoked license, trafficking in a controlled substance, and several other traffic violations.
