Traffic stop leads to drug arrests in Casey County
LIBERTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – What began as a traffic stop ended with two arrests in Casey County.
Kentucky State Police say 39-year-old Garnett T. Glover, of Elk Horn, was stopped because he didn’t use his turning signal and his rear license plate was not visible.
KSP says a Trooper could smell marijuana coming from the car as he approached Glover.
Investigators say a search of the car turned-up two small bags of suspected meth and marijuana.
State Police say Glover was charged with possession of marijuana, a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, DUI and for the initial traffic violations.
Investigators say a passenger in the car, 33-year-old Amber Fowler, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
