TRAFFIC ALERT: Ramp closure at Mountain Pkwy Exit 22 scheduled for Friday

STANTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The westbound off-ramp from the Mountain Parkway to KY 213 at Exit 22 (Stanton) in Powell County will be closed from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Friday, April 1. This closure is necessary because of a project to resurface exit and entrance ramps at the Stanton interchange.

Traffic can continue west on the Mountain Parkway to the KY 1057 interchange at Exit 18 (Clay City) and re-enter the Mountain Parkway eastbound to access KY 213. Westbound motorists can also use the KY 11 interchange at Exit 33 (Slade) and use KY 11/KY 15 to reach Stanton.

No other ramps at the Stanton interchange will be impacted.

Electronic message boards will be in place to inform drivers of the ramp closure.
