Traffic Alert: Part of I-75 to close Friday in Laurel County

MANCHESTER, Ky. (KYTC) — Interstate 75 southbound will be closed at exit 49 in Laurel County on Friday, November 13 beginning at 11:00 a.m. Traffic will be diverted east on KY 909, then south on U.S. 25, west on KY 80 and back to I-75.

The closure will allow Kentucky State Police to reconstruct a fatal MVC. Estimated duration of closure is expected to be three hours.

The date, time, and duration of the reconstruction may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
