TRAFFIC ALERT: One lane of I-75N near Georgetown closed after accident

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Motorists heading north on I-75 may need to find an alternate route after a tractor trailer overturned around 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Officials say the driver of the truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Emergency Management is now trying to contain a small fuel leak from the truck, that wrecked near a creek.

They say a company is en route to help clean up the spill.

Officials say the interstate will remain down to one lane for the next couple of hours.
