Traffic Alert: New Circle lane closure scheduled for Monday night

LEXINGTON, Ky. (KYTC) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that this advisory serves as an update for work on New Circle Road/KY 4.  The work is part of the widening and reconstruction project in Lexington, Fayette County.

Work rescheduled for this evening, Monday (08/15/16) at 7:00 p.m. continuing through Tuesday (08/16/16) at 7:00 a.m. — weather permitting.

• the left/fast lane on the Inner Loop will be closed between Versailles Road (MP 4.860) and Leestown Road (MP 7.260)

A reduced speed limit of 45 MPH is in effect at all times.

All work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
