Traffic Alert: Lane closures planned for KY 2261 in Frankfort

FRANKFORT, KY (KYTC) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 5 Office advises motorists of upcoming lane closures on KY 2261 (Holmes Street) in Franklin County. Contract crews will be paving the section of roadway between Nicole Place and Hudson Street in Frankfort (mile points 0.29 to 0.74).

Milling of the existing pavement is scheduled for Friday, October 23. The roadway will be resurfaced on Monday, October 26. Lane closures are necessary both days from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Motorists will be flagged through the work zone.
