TRAFFIC ALERT: Hayes Blvd. closure extended

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says that a temporary closure for Hayes Boulevard in Lexington has been extended due to heavy rains on Monday.

Now, Hayes Boulevard won’t be open for motorists until Wednesday, August 3, at 4:00 p.m.

Until the road is opened, motorists are advised to access Hayes Boulevard from Athens Boonesboro Road.
