Traffic Alert: Expect lane closure Friday on KY 1964/McCowans Ferry Rd. in Woodford County

LEXINGTON, Ky. (KYTC) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that a temporary lane closure is scheduled for KY 1964/McCowans Ferry Road. The closure and work are necessary to provide adequate drainage along the roadway.

Friday, Oct. 2 (tomorrow)
9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

A closure will be in effect:

– one lane will be closed between mile points 0.55 and 0.72
– flaggers will be on site to guide and direct motorists
– one lane will remain open for traffic

All work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
