Traffic Alert: Alexandria Drive in Lexington scheduled to close Friday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The state wants drivers to know that part of Alexandria Drive in Lexington is scheduled to close temporarily Friday.

Crews are scheduled to install storm sewer pipes between Trailwood Lane and Leestown Road.

The state says the work is scheduled to run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Drivers are encouraged to use the alternate route of Trailwood Lane to White Oak Terrace.

The state says all work is subject to change depending on weather and emergencies.
