Traffic Advisory: Active Commercial Structure Fire on South Wilderness Road

ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Motorists are urged to use caution and avoid the area of South Wilderness Road just past Exit 59 near the truck stop due to an active commercial structure fire, officials said.

Brodhead fire units are assisting the Mount Vernon Fire Department and other agencies at the scene. Traffic is heavily impacted as crews conduct water supply operations to fight the fire.

Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes and watch for emergency vehicles and personnel while the scene remains active.
