Townend wins again at Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Great Britain’s Oliver Townend is once again victorious at the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by MARS EQUESTRIAN.

Townend and Cooley Master Class put in a fault free show jumping round to finish with a score of 25.3.

American Boyd Martin was also faultless. He finished second with a 27.9.

New Zealand’s Tim Price also put in a fault free round to finish third with Xavier Faer with a score of 30.9.

Townend has won back-to-back. Only Bruce Davidson, Kim Severson and Michael Jung have done so before in the event’s 41-year history.
