Town hall held with officials discussing safety in the Hispanic community

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Dozens gathered at the El Mango ice cream parlor in Lexington for a town hall with Judge John Reynolds and Chief of Police Lawrence Weathers.

Mario Martinez organized the town hall to discuss public safety for Fayette County’s Hispanic community.

“Based upon our success, we will be planning other events in the near future. Building relationships is the key to community,” Judge Reynolds said on his Facebook page.

The next meeting will take place in September at the same location.
