‘Tour Of Hope’ Brings Breast Cancer Survivor To Lexington
The ‘Tour of Hope’ brought a breast cancer survivor to Lexington on Thursday.
Jeanine Patten-Coble is driving cross country to raise money for her charity, ‘Little Pink Houses of Hope,’ which allows cancer survivors and their families to go on a free vacation retreat at the beach.
One of her first stops on the tour was at Transylvania University.
"Our retreats are designed to just put a big hug around families as they’re going through this journey, because it’s a difficult journey. It’s physically, it’s emotionally, it’s financially exhausting. And, it’s nice to be able to, with your family, focus on your family and hit the pause button," said Patten-Coble.
