Toddler dies after being found unresponsive in hot car in Frankfort

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – A toddler is dead after being found unresponsive in a hot car in Frankfort on Friday.

The Franklin County Coroner’s Office says 3-year-old Calvin Hedges was taken to Frankfort Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy was performed Saturday but the cause of death has not been released.

The Franklin County Coroner’s Office says this is an ongoing death investigation and Frankfort police are joining in the investigation.
