Tips from public lead to arrest of Love’s truck stop robbery suspect
LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says a tip led them to arrest a man wanted in connected to a robbery at Love’s truck stop.
Deputies say the robbery happened Friday, March 1 around 6:30 a.m.
They say that since surveillance photos and attention from media came out, they have received numerous tips from the public.
Deputies say 49-year-old John Schell was arrested at a home on Pleasure View Road Wednesday.
They say the 2006 Chevrolet van that Schell was driving during the robbery was a reported stolen vehicle.
