Tim Couch slated for on-campus salute honor on September 14
Couch will be honored by UK and the National Football Foundation at the Kentucky vs. Georgia game
IRVING, Tex. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- The University of Kentucky, the National Football Foundation (NFF) and College Hall of Fame are honoring 2024 College Football Hall of Fame selectee Tim Couch on Saturday September 14.
The honor will take place during the Kentucky versus Georgia game at 7:30 p.m. on ABC 36.
“Tim Couch wasn’t just a great player at Kentucky; he was a game-changer who shattered records and redefined what was possible in the SEC,” said NFF President & CEO Steve Hatchell.

During these celebrations, a Hall of Fame selectee comes home to his respective school to accept a plaque that will be on permanent display at the school.
Couch, a Hyden, Kentucky product, is the sixth UK player to enter the Hall. Other inductees are listed below.
