Three Powerball winners in Kentucky

FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Three Kentuckians are holding major winning tickets after Saturday night’s record Powerball jackpot drawing.

According to the Kentucky Lottery, a $100,000 ticket was sold at Kash Stop Four in Louisa, while two $50,000 winning tickets came from M&S Food Mart in Louisville and an online purchase through kylottery.com.

Lottery officials urge players to sign the back of their tickets, keep them secure, and claim prizes at lottery headquarters in Louisville within 180 days.

Saturday’s $1.8 billion jackpot — the largest in Powerball history — was split by winners in Missouri and Texas. In Kentucky, 14 big prizes were hit during this record jackpot run.

The Powerball jackpot now stands at $33 million after no one matched all numbers in Monday’s drawing.
