Three people arrested in connection to stabbing in Richmond
RICHMOND, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Three people are in jail following a stabbing incident that occurred over the weekend in Richmond. According to the Richmond Police Department, the incident took place on Sunday near North Madison Avenue.
Police say they were patrolling the area when a bystander alerted them to a woman who had been stabbed. The victim was taken to U-K Hospital and underwent emergency surgery.
Authorities arrested Jamarr Simpson, Akilah Parker, and Tierra Gaines at a nearby home in connection with the stabbing. They face charges including assault, possession of marijuana, and endangering the welfare of a minor.
