Three More Sentenced In Vote Buying Scheme
Three more people were sentenced for being part of a vote buying scheme in Breathitt County.
Naomi Johnson and Earl Young will spend four months in jail and Jackie Jennings will spend two. This is in addition to serving 120 hours of community service educating the public about the dangers of vote buying.
Johnson, Young, and Jennings were all found guilty of crimes of vote buying for magistrate Michael Slayers in May 2010.
A total of eleven people have been convicted in the case, including former superintendent Arch Turner.
