Three killed identified, three others injured in fiery I-64 crash in Woodford County;

UPDATE: According to the Woodford County Coroner’s Office, 50-year-old Casey Whitlock, 43-year-old Matthew Jackson and 39-year old John McBoom died at the scene of the crash.

WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Three people are dead and three others injured after a multi-vehicle crash Friday night on I-64 in Woodford County, according to Kentucky State Police.

Troopers said they were called to the westbound lanes near mile marker 61 around 7:30 p.m. The crash involved four tractor-trailers and two cars and led to a fire.

KSP confirmed that two tractor-trailer drivers and one person in a car were killed. Another tractor-trailer driver and two others in a car were taken to the hospital with injuries.

All lanes of I-64 reopened at 7:15 a.m. Saturday. Troopers say the crash remains under investigation.
