Three Forks Regional Jail says it is no longer under a quarantine that was put into place after an inmate was diagnosed with a case of meningitis.
Officials at the jail gave no further details.

BEATTYVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Three Forks Regional Jail is under quarantine after an inmate was diagnosed with a case of meningitis, according to the jail.
Jail officials say they believe the health threat has been contained and they hope to lift the quarantine on Thursday.
The inmate, whose name wasn’t released, is at an area hospital for treatment. The jail says he began showing symptoms last week.
Jail officials say the inmate was in an area with about 80 other inmates.
