Three Charged with Reckless Homicide in Boyle County
The sheriff said around midnight deputies found Lane unresponsive on the floor of a home along Mocks Creek Drive.
The police report said Lane smoked synthetic drugs then had a seizure-like reaction.
The report goes on to say, Michael Graham, Martin Hoskins and Amy Young did not help Lane until it was too late.
Deputies weren’t able to revive Lane.
Graham, Hoskins and Young are all accused of reckless homicide.
Deputies said they found a suitcase full of synthetic drugs, a white powdery substance and $3,000 cash. Investigators believe Graham and Young were dealing the synthetic drug known as serenity.
The Boyle County Sheriff believes other people may have bought this drug from Graham and Young.
“We would really like for those people to bring that narcotic to us,” said Marty Elliot, Boyle County Sheriff. “We won’t say anything, we will not arrest them, we just want to get the product off the street.”
An autopsy is scheduled to try and figure out exactly what chemicals are the synthetic drugs.
