Three charged with homicide in Knox Co.

ARTEMUS, Ky. (WTVQ) – Three people arrested for a burglary have had homicide added to their charges after the victim of the burglary died.

According to Knot County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy who was responding to a call of a burglary in progress at a home on Walton Rd. on Feb. 8 found 30 year-old Josh Reiter, 30 year-old Harvey Cain and 24 year-old Amy Cain outside.  The deputy arrested Harvey and Amy Cain, when Reiter ran into the home.  When the deputy followed, he found Felicia West in a bedroom, unresponsive.  The deputy called for help, while Reiter escaped.  Reiter was captured later that day.

According to investigators, West passed away on Feb. 9.  Now all three suspects have been charged with homicide in the case.
