Three arrested after search warrant served at Frankfort apartment
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says a drug bust at an apartment complex led to the arrest of three people.
Franklin County Sheriff Pat Melton says the office’s Special Operations Section helped narcotics detectives with a drug-related search warrant at Hickory Hills Apartments at 120 Marlow Court in Frankfort.
Deputies took 30-year-old William Brewer III from Frankfort into custody. He was charged with trafficking in controlled substance after investigators say they found he had 900 Xanax tablets and over over grams of cocaine on him.
Also arrested was 24-year-old Lloyd Brooks from Detroit, Michigan. Investigators say Brooks was found hiding behind a door as the Special Operations Section team came into the apartment. They say tried to hid a bag of crack cocaine and small bag of marijuana as the team entered the apartment. Brooks was arrested for possession of controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.
Deputies also took 53-year-old Gregory Jackson from Frankfort into custody for an outstanding child support warrant from Franklin County. They say Jackson had Xanax and hydrocodone on him at the time of his arrest.
