Three arrested in meth trafficking case
LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – What began with a traffic stop ended with three men arrested in a meth trafficking case, according to London Police.
Police say they pulled a car over around 2:00 a.m. on KY 192 on Tuesday. They say they arrested 37-year old George Couch, Jr., of London and 35-year old Jason Burkhart, of East Bernstadt, on drug and other charges.
After the traffic stop, a search warrant was obtained and a search was conducted at a home on Slate Lick Road. Police say they arrested the homeowner, 63-year old Robert Loren, of London, on meth trafficking charges.
Investigators say they found methamphetamine, two pistols, a long shotgun, drug paraphernalia and pills in Loren’s home.
All three men were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
