Three Arrested Following Break-In At Lexington Building

Three people were discovered hiding in an attic area of a Lexington building as police responded to a burglary call.

Police said someone living next to the building in the 400 block of East 3rd Street called to say they heard voices and movement coming from the building.

At the same time, an alarm call came in from the building.

When police arrived, they say a man was spotted coming out of the front door and he immediately ran back into the building.

Police went inside and realized there were people in the attic area.

When they refused to come down, police sent up K-9 units.

Three people immediately came down and were arrested. They were charged with burglary.

Police said the suspects were stealing liquor.
