Thomas the Train to visit New Haven
NEW HAVEN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Day Out with Thomas, a celebration tour for Thomas the Tank Engine, is stopping in New Haven this weekend and the next.
The Celebration Tour invites families of all ages to join Thomas on June 6-7 and 13-14, when the engine pulls into the Kentucky Railway Museum. The event will occur between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., on both weekends.
Officials say this event will feature a 25-minute ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, where the "Really Useful Engine" will greet his fans. Along with the ride with Thomas, authorities say the event includes live music, train tables, storytelling, a petting zoo, bounce house, crafts, and more.

Officials say this celebration is presented by Fisher-Price and sponsored by MEGA Brands and all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotels. The tour, now in its 20th year, is scheduled to make 42 stops across the U.S. and Canada, and is expected to welcome nearly one million passengers in 2015.
