LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ) – Thanks to a new rule instituted by the NCAA, Kentucky and schools across the country held an early signing day earlier this week.

The day allows prep stars to sign in December instead of waiting until next year.

For the schools, it’s an opportunity to already know what you’ll be working with going into next season.

For the high school players, there’s advantages as well.
