The right mindset

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The UK women took to the Rupp Arena floor Thursday to get loose ahead of Friday night’s Sweet 16 matchup with Washington.

Head coach Matthew Mitchell reminded his team to block out negative energy during the team shoot-around.  The focus is to keep positive attitudes even when adversity hits.

The Solid Blue fan support will be appreciated and needed, but the hope and dream of reaching the Final Four and beyond will certainly not rest on the shoulders of those in the stands.
