The Defense

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – What a win for John Calipari and the Cats last night in the Big Apple.  69-48 the final.  UK over Michigan State.

Kentucky took care of MSU with ease at Madison Square Garden.

It was all about the freshmen in the early, signature victory of the season…and all about the defense too.  The Cats held the Spartans to just 48 points.

UK also forced 19 total turnovers.  The ‘D’ has gotten better in a hurry, but still isn’t refined.
