The attendance component

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The football Cats should be 1-0 right now.  They aren’t.  So it’s time to move on.

Florida is up next.  UK and the UF are set for a 3:30 kick on Saturday in the Swamp.

It’ll be a week off for Solid Blue fans following the collapse in front of a less-than sell-out crowd to kick off the season at Commonwealth Stadium.

The meltdown in the second half has left a bad taste in the mouths of many.  But a win over the Gators could certainly re-energize the fans.

Mark Stoops knows just how important that attendance component is to the program too, which is why that loss out of the gate stung even more.
