The Apollo Curse

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – 136 years.  No horse has taken the Kentucky Derby starting its career as a three-year old since Apollo did it back in 1882; it’s the Apollo Curse.

Magnum Moon, the only horse in the field by a stallion who has sired a Derby winner already (Malibu Moon sired 2013 winner Orb) and Justify will look to break that curse.

Both horses have resumes that stand out.

The development is there, but can the streak be broken?
