Texting Driver Hits Parked Cars

Police said a woman admitted she was texting and driving when she hit two parked cars in a Lexington neighborhood.

It happened on Meadow Lane, near Loudon Avenue, around midnight.

The woman told police she was texting when she hit a car that was parked in a driveway, then swerved and hit another vehicle parked in the street.

Police said the womanw as taken to the hospital with a cut to her head, but no one else was hurt.

Investigators said they don’t expect any charges will be filed.
