Texas A&M sweeps Kentucky 3-0 for NCAA volleyball championship
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – No. 3 seed Texas A&M swept No. 1 seed Kentucky in straight sets (26-24) (25-15) (25-20) to win the NCAA volleyball national championship Sunday afternoon. It marked the first national title in program history for the aggies.
Texas A&M defeated three No. 1 seeds during its title run. The Aggies beat Nebraska in five sets in the Elite Eight and swept Pitt in the Final Four to advance to the championship match.
