Terrorism Suspect Asked To Be Let Out Of Jail

An Iraqi man facing terrorism charges in Kentucky has asked a judge to be let our of jail.

The attorney for 24-year-old Mohanad Hammadi said his client is being held in solitary confinement with no interaction with other inmates and no recreation during daylight hours.

He goes on to say this violates Hammadi’s rights and suggested home incarceration instead.

Hammadi faces 12 charges including perjury and attempting to support a terrorist organization.

His trial is scheduled to begin August 27th.
