Teenager shot in Frankfort

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – A teenager was shot in the leg Friday afternoon in Frankfort, according to police.

Investigators say it happened around 1:00 p.m. near Hanley Lane.

Police say the victim is 17-years old and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The victim’s name wasn’t released.

Investigators say there were no immediate suspects.

Police say there was a separate incident Friday afternoon where shots were reportedly fired on Holmes Street, but no one was hit or any property damaged.
