Teenager hit by car in Richmond
RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – A 14-year old boy suffered life-threatening injuries Monday night after being hit by a car in Richmond, according to Richmond Police.
It happened just before 6:00 p.m. in the area of East Main Street and East Irvine Street, according to investigators.
The boy was rushed to UK Hospital in Lexington. His name wasn’t released.
Investigators say the driver did stop and cooperated with police. No charges were anticipated against the driver, according to police.
The road was closed until 10:30 p.m.
