Teenager charged in death of moped driver
PULASKI CO., Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — State police say 19-year-old Kayleigh Dismuke was driving on US 27 and East Frog Hollow Road around midnight on Sunday when she allegedly rear-ended a moped.
The Pulaski County Coroner’s Office pronounced the driver of the moped, 31-year-old Dino Collins, dead at the hospital.
According to state police, alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash. Dismuke is now facing the following charges:
- Vehicular Homicide when under the Influence of Alcohol
- Operating Motor Vehicle Under Influence 1st
- Failure to wear seat belt
- Poss of open Alcohol Beverage in a Motor Vehicle
