Teen reported missing in McCreary County; deputies ask for public’s help
MCCREARY COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The McCreary County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 15-year-old girl.
According to the sheriff’s office, Kylin Strunk was discovered missing from her home early Thursday morning. Deputies say she was last seen around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, at a residence on Mt. Pleasant Church Road in Strunk.
Officials say a window screen to the teen’s bedroom had been pulled away and the home’s front door was found unlocked. Investigators believe she left during the night and may be trying to stay with friends or acquaintances in the area.
Strunk is described as a white female, 5 feet 7 inches tall and approximately 140 pounds, with light brown hair and bluish-green eyes. She has a light complexion and several identifying tattoos, including a snowflake with “2020” on her right knee, a black heart on her left shoulder, a four-leaf clover behind her right ear, a small heart on the inside of her right ankle, and a rose tattoo on the top of her left foot.
She was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt with the number “11” on it and blue distressed jeans.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911.
