Teen killed in Friday shooting identified by Coroner’s Office
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The Fayette County Coroner’s Office has identified the 16-year old, shot and killed early Friday morning at the Gatehouse Apartments in Lexington.
According to the coroner’s office, C’aveyoun Robinson, a resident of Lexington, was pronounced dead at 6:15 a.m. on July 19, 2024, after suffering a gunshot wound. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Gatehouse Apartments located at 1825 Liberty Road.
Officials have confirmed that Robinson’s death is being treated as a homicide. No further information regarding the circumstances of the shooting has been released at this time.
The Fayette County Coroner’s Office is handling the investigation.
