Teen killed in four-wheeler crash in Laurel County identified

LONDON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – One teen is dead, and one is injured after a four-wheeler crash in Laurel County on Tuesday, June 18.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says that on Tuesday afternoon around 4 p.m., they were dispatched to Nineva Road to respond to a crash.

Reports say that when they arrived on scene, they found that a four-wheeler being operated by two male juveniles had run off the road after losing control resulting in one of them having fatal injuries.

The Laurel County Coroner’s Office pronounced 13-year-old Caleb Morgan dead at the scene.

The other 13-year-old involved in the crash was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries according to the Sheriff’s Office.

This is an ongoing investigation.
