Teen charged with murder in Lexington homicide

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A juvenile is now in custody and facing a murder charge in connection with a homicide on Lakebow Court.

According to Lexington Police, officers arrested a 17-year-old suspect Wednesday with the help of an anonymous tip.

The Fayette County Coroner has identified the victim as 81-year-old Thomas Kriegel.

Police say the 17-year-old is being held at a juvenile detention center in Warren County.

Detectives continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information about the case to contact Lexington Police.
