Teen arrested after gun found at Best of the Bluegrass festival in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – An 18-year-old is facing charges after police say he was found with a gun during the Best of the Bluegrass festival in Georgetown over the weekend.

According to Georgetown Police, officers responded Saturday to reports of a juvenile possibly carrying a gun on Main Street. Investigators say they located the 18-year-old wearing a ski mask and carrying a small firearm in his pocket.

Police posted a photo on Facebook showing the alleged weapon along with three other items that were seized. Authorities add that a juvenile was also with the teen at the time. That juvenile was released to his mother.
