Technical issue affects 221 LEXserv accounts

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Credit and debit card payment processors for Greater Cincinnati Works, which administers LEXserv bills, experienced a technical problem last weekend affecting about 221 LEXserv accounts.

Multiple payment authorization attempts for LEXserv bills were made on these accounts by the company’s payment processors, FIS and Chase Paymentech.

Greater Cincinnati Works has taken immediate steps to address the problem, which affected accounts from multiple businesses scattered across the country.

Additional staff has been assigned and LEXserv customers with concerns can call 1-888-987-8111.

Company officials said there was no breach of private information. The issue only involved the multiple payment authorization.
