Taylor County deputies investigating murder-suicide. 

TAYLOR COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Taylor County Sheriff’s Department is investigating what they say is a murder-suicide.

On August 3, 2019, the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department responded to 225 Lyle Road.

The caller stated a Jennifer Bennett was lying on the ground next to a white vehicle.

Upon arrival, Officers located Jennifer Bennett, age 42 of 225 Lyle Road Campbellsville Kentucky deceased with a single gunshot wound. Also found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound was Anthony Underwood age 42 of 31 Tabor Road Hodgenville Kentucky.

Bennett was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Taylor County Coroners Office. Underwood was airlifted from the scene to UK Hospital where he was pronounced deceased by the Fayette County Coroners Office.

The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Kentucky State Police.
