Tates Creek Aquatic Center remains closed
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Tates Creek Aquatic Center closed earlier this week after discovering a significant leak under the pool deck. It remains closed this weekend but pool officials hope to reopen next week.
“We apologize for the inconvenience to our patrons and are working diligently to reopen as quickly as possible to provide a safe facility for everyone”, said Brian Rogers, Deputy Director for Lexington Parks and Recreation.
People who planned to pick up pre-purchased pool passes at Tates Creek can instead receive them at Southland Aquatic Center starting on Friday at 4 p.m., says officials, reminding customers to bring a photo ID.
